Basf Se 150 Jahre Employee Festival

We celebrate!

As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, BASF SE hosted an event-packed and colorful party for all its employees - right at the gates of their Ludwigshafen site.
Under the motto "WE CELEBRATE", a simple and ambitious idea was born, to thank each of the approximately 80,000 invited guests personally, especially for their time with the company.

6 adventure areas, 40 gourmet food stations and more than 60 performance artists.

The 35,000 square meter event area was divided into 6 experience areas: entrance area, tree area, barbecue area, picnic area, wine domain and festival area. Each with its very special appearance. 40 gourmet food stations were spread across the entire site. In addition, the show program surprised guests across 3 stages and many small action areas, with more than 60 artists, providing interactive moments and exciting encounters.

A colourful festival...

As darkness fell, the artists paraded towards the festival square. Here, in front of the festival's landmark, a group broke away from the ensemble and "rose", transforming the night sky into a stage for a rousing operatic spectacle.

50m above the guests heads, imaginative light sculptures met a virtuoso mobile performance of poetic, artistic figures. The live show drew on musical, dance and theatrical dynamics combined with 150 years of company history to create a fascinating moment of community.
